Rovex Wins Top Honors at ViVE 2026 Startup Pitch Competition

Rovex founder & CEO David Crabb accepts the ViVE 2026 Startup Pitch Competition 1st place award on February 25, 2026.

Rovex Technologies Corporation has been proudly named the winner of the 2026 ViVE Startup Pitch Competition at the ViVE conference in Los Angeles, California. This award recognizes Rovex as one of the most promising innovators in digital health, spotlighting the company’s work in transforming hospital logistics through autonomous robotics.

A Big Win on a Big Stage

ViVE is one of the healthcare industry’s most influential gatherings, bringing together health system leaders, technology innovators, and investors to tackle the future of digital health. During ViVE 2026 (February 22–25), Rovex stood out among a competitive field of startups by clearly addressing one of healthcare’s most persistent operational challenges: inefficient and staff-intensive patient transport inside hospitals.

As the top prize winner, Rovex Technologies Corporation received $25,000 in cash along with $25,000 in sponsorship credit for the 2027 ViVE conference.

Solving a Real Problem in Healthcare

Rovex is transforming in-hospital logistics with its autonomous transport robot, Rovi, designed to safely move patients on stretchers while easing the burden on clinical and support staff. By automating one of the most time-consuming and physically demanding tasks in hospitals, Rovex helps healthcare teams focus more on patient care while improving overall operational flow.

Judges highlighted Rovex for its practical, real-world approach targeting bottlenecks that every hospital experiences, yet few technologies meaningfully solve.

Physician-Led Innovation

Rovex is led by founder and CEO David Crabb, an emergency medicine physician who has seen firsthand how logistical inefficiencies can delay care and strain hospital teams. That clinical perspective was a key differentiator during the pitch, grounding Rovex’s technology in the realities of day-to-day healthcare operations.

Looking Ahead

Winning the ViVE 2026 Startup Pitch Competition marks a major milestone for Rovex, but it’s only the beginning. With growing momentum, industry recognition, and a clear mission to modernize hospital logistics, Rovex is continuing to build solutions that make hospitals more efficient, safer for staff, and better overall for patients.

We’re honored by this recognition and excited for what’s next. Stay tuned as Rovex continues to innovate at the intersection of healthcare, robotics, and real-world impact.
