Rovi Joins LA Tech Week to Explore the Future of Healthcare Robotics
On October 14th, Rovi’s Hello, World! Tour made its way to downtown Los Angeles for Rovex's Robots Above LA, a special event hosted on the 36th floor of the Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman law office.
The event brought together members of the technology and innovation communities to learn more about Rovi, hear from Dr. David Crabb, and explore the possibilities of autonomous healthcare robotics.
Throughout LA Tech Week, the Rovex team also connected with the Los Angeles technology and robotics communities at other events, including Bots & Brews LA on October 12th and LA’s Deep Tech Ecosystem on the evening of October 14th.
During Robots Above LA, Dr. David Crabb shared insights into the future of physical AI and what it takes to bring autonomous robotics into real-world healthcare environments.
Dr. Crabb also discussed the need for reliability, workflow integration, and customer adoption in moving robotics from pilot programs to scalable solutions. The presentation highlighted the challenges and importance of implementing robotics in complex healthcare settings and equipment transportation.
Attendees also had the opportunity to see Rovi in action during a live demonstration and learn how its technology could support patient and equipment transportation in hospitals.
The afternoon provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and connect with others who are passionate about technology and healthcare innovation.
